Scuff Tester
The Scuff Tester is a set up to generate scuff and determine the amount of coating removed from the plate. This testing method helps to simulate the damage that is resulting during the plate handling right from manufacturing, packing, transport to unloading at customer place. Hence the test method can be used for control of product quality, compare with the other related products in the market and serve as a useful tool for research and development of plate.

- This method uses optical image to give absolute and relative measure. It can also record the basis of measurement as per present methodology.
- The flexibility in testing gives wide options to test different type of plate products with different type of interleave paper or specific type of scrubber to set as a standard.
- The test is easy in function and so does not need skilled operators as there is SOP which demonstrate consistent results (i.e. can be calibrated).

Automatic Balance Ring
This machine automates Balance Ring Assembly. The process involves Air leakage testing, Accurate water filling, Button feeding and Welded button testing. Earlier all the processes were manual and time consuming. Also quality of assembly and defective products were observed at customer place.
